I’m Lewis x Scottish, dad of two, and the proud owner of a completely healthy obsession with Pokémon and LEGO.

The moments you lived.
The people you love.
The memories you’ll keep coming back to.

I’m interested in everything that makes a wedding what it is.

The obvious stuff, of course. But also the things happening around it — the way the light moves through a room, a great outfit, the shape of a building, someone watching from across the room, the split second before a dance floor completely loses it.

I’m not interested in making everything look perfect. I like the slightly messy bits, the unexpected moments, the weird expressions, the way the light falls across a room. The things that make a photograph feel like a memory rather than something that was carefully arranged.

My approach is simple — let the day unfold, and get some cool portraits along the way.

I’ll photograph the energy, the atmosphere and everything happening around you, stepping in when I see something worth making a photograph of. When it’s time for portraits, I’ll give you some direction and make the most of the light, the surroundings and the two of you.

No stiff poses. No disappearing for hours. Just a relaxed approach that gives you space to enjoy the day while creating photographs that feel considered, personal and a little bit different.
The result is a gallery with the moments you actually remember, alongside portraits you’ll genuinely want to put on the wall.

I’m not the photographer who quietly hides in the corner all day.

I’ll get properly stuck in. I’ll chat to your guests, work the room, get involved when I see something happening and, when the moment calls for it, I’ll step in and help make a great photograph happen.

But I also know when to get out of the way.You won’t spend your wedding being told where to stand, what to do or when to smile. I’ll give you direction when it’s useful, especially for portraits, then let you get back to the people you’re actually there to see.

I think that balance is important. You want someone who’s confident enough to take the reins when they’re needed, but relaxed enough to let the day unfold without constantly interrupting it.

Hopefully, somewhere along the way, you’ll stop noticing the camera altogether. I’ll just be another person caught up in the day — chatting to your mates, getting excited when something good is happening and trying to keep up when the dance floor inevitably loses it.

And then, afterwards, you’ll have photographs that feel like you actually lived the day, rather than spent it having it photographed.
